Southern Regional Education Board – State Doctoral Scholars Program Fellowship
Awarded in June 2020
$20,000 stipend for 4 years and Tuition waiver. The goal of the Doctoral Scholars Program is to increase the number of minority students who earn doctorates and choose to become faculty at colleges and universities. In addition to financial support, each scholar receives a commitment by the host academic department to provide quality mentoring, professional development opportunities and activities designed to hone classroom teaching skills.
